Administrative assistant

Tasks descriptions

  • Administrative support to the Building Manager and Technical Center Coordinator;
  • Preparation and translation (when required) of communications, letters, documents and reports;
  • Maintenance and creation (if required) of building and supplier contracts, schedules and checklists, procedures, etc.;
  • Maintenance and creation (if required) of inventories;
  • Assist with project scheduling, booking contractors and follow-up;
  • Occasional travel to locations on the company’s network;
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as deemed necessary for the immediate position.


  • Possess at least 5 years’ experience in an administrative assistant position;
  • College diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (calendar and contacts), OneNote;
  • Bilingualism is required (English/French: spoken and written, ability to do translations in both languages). Inuktitut is an asset;
  • Knowledge of building materials and experience with construction projects an asset;
  • Highly motivated, organized, efficient and punctual;
  • Confidentiality and discretion are expected;
  • Able to work with limited supervision and have a strong sense of initiative.
