Travelling During Pregnancy

Air Inuit welcomes expectant mothers and will do everything possible to ensure their safety and comfort.

Generally speaking, travelling up to the 36th week of pregnancy is considered safe. However, we recommend you consult your physician before making any travel plans.

In the case of a pregnant woman whose expected delivery date is within 7 days of travel, Air Inuit must be provided with a doctor's certificate, dated within 72 hours of departure, stating that she has been examined and found physically fit for travel from (Place) to (Place) on (Date) and that the estimated time for birth is (Date). A copy of the certificate must be presented at check-in.
